Make a loop with the tape. Push it through the buckle. Insert the tang in the loop |
Pull the end of the tape |
To lock it, go again through the stainless steel buckle |
Secure the tail with the clip : (the clip is located between the cap and the base of the tensioner.) |
Unrolling the spool of tape:
Unroll the tape tothe next tensioner #36W Pull the WHOLE tape by hand (even a mile of tape is easy to pull) |
Set the tape in the #36W buckle. |

Pull and set the final tension of your fence from one tensioner #36W to the next #36W. | |
Cut the tape 8" from the buckle |

Secure the tail with the clip |
1- Once it has been attached onto the post which can be wood, pipe, fiberglass or Tpost. |
2- Position the tape on it. |
3- Close the cap and screw in the bottom #8 peg. |
4- Then firmly screw in the other #8 peg but do not over tighten. |
To stretch & re-stretch the tape #TSP Once you have tried our Tape Stretching Pliers you will wonder how you could have been able to stretch the tape without them before... They really make the job so easy! But do not forget to loosen the Pegs to free the tape before pulling it with the pliers |

Take the tail of the tape out of the buckle. | Slacken the fence tape by pushing it with the palm of your hand. It will slacken all by itself. |
